M-LAC8 by Hoya is a special optical glass with a very rare melt frequency. It transmits from 0.29 to 1.55 µm with an nd of 1.713 and a Vd of 53.94. It has low thermal expansion (CTE of 6.3×10⁻⁶/K), average chemical resistance, and precision molding compatibility.
