MP-TAFD405 by Hoya is a special optical glass with a very rare melt frequency. It transmits from 0.36 to 2.50 µm with an nd of 1.9515 and a Vd of 29.83. It has low thermal expansion (CTE of 6.0×10⁻⁶/K), good chemical resistance, and precision molding compatibility.
